Your new bathroom expertly designed by Richard himself…
Most new bathrooms don’t fit one particular style of course. And when all’s said and done, this is your bathroom, so it’s about designing the bathroom of your dreams…not mine. You might for example choose a stylish shower, with a screen over an acrylic bath; this is often ideal for a small bathroom. Or perhaps you’re considering removing the bath completely and fitting a walk-in shower cubicle with fully tiled walls and floor. You might want extra storage space in the bathroom too. So ceramic basin tops with built-in vanity units and cupboards are always very popular. Whatever your dream bathroom, we will design it for you.
Super choice of fitted bathrooms…
Fitted bathrooms usually have a stylish bath, fitted cupboards (often concealing the toilet cistern), a semi-recessed basin or even a counter-top basin. Worktops are a choice of laminate, granite or a man-made solid surface. Taps are high-end designer mono-bloc ceramic disc, quarter turn. Tiling choices include quality marble, travertine, granite, porcelain or decorative stone mosaic. Floors may be heated and controlled by an external thermostat.

Modern bathroom designs…
Modern designer bathroom suites tend to have more interior design flair. They often incorporate a wall-hung basin. Italian style monobloc taps can be added, with either pop-up or push-up waste controls. Toilets are usually with a slim design including a duel flush with soft closing seats. Baths can be styled to fit into a corner or be offset, tapered, free-standing or even rounded. And nearly all can be fitted with whirlpool systems. Modern showers, especially when linked to combi boilers, are classed as high pressure and can offer a multitude of water spray patterns. The walls in modern bathrooms tend to be fully tiled. What luxury!

Traditional bathroom designs…
A traditional bathroom generally consists of a bath (sometimes even a cast iron bath … see below), a basin and a flush toilet. The bath may be made of acrylic, steel or cast iron with the sanitary ware being glazed pottery. Taps are normally separate, of a pillar style and chromed. In the traditional bathroom waste outlets are normally plug-chains and the bathroom is half-tiled in slandered six-inch square tiles.

Wetrooms
Our fabulous wetrooms allow you to shower without worrying about where the water goes! All the water is removed via a centre-floor drain, so you don’t have to be careful about splashes. These can also include handrails and non-slip flooring material for ease-of-use by the disabled if required. And beautifully finished too!
